Room in a bed and breakfast

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
This is the kind of room where you naturally slow down. Open the curtains in the morning and you’ll see the valley, village homes and hills instead of buildings and traffic. You’ll hear birds, village sounds and sometimes nothing at all. The room is simple, comfortable and made for resting after a safari, birding session, waterfall walk or a day exploring North Corbett. Stay in, sit by the window, watch the light change over the hills and let the day move at its own pace.

The space
A small, family-run homestay in Rathuwadhab village, on the quieter northern side of Jim Corbett. We’re surrounded by village life, Sal forests, hills, birds and the Mandal landscape.
This is not a resort built around a swimming pool and loud music. It’s a place to slow down, eat simple home-cooked Uttarakhand food, sit on the terrace, watch the sunrise, walk through the village, go birding, explore the forest or head out for a safari.
We have comfortable rooms with attached bathrooms, a common terrace and plenty of open space around the house. The real luxury here is space, silence and being close to everyday village life.

If you’re looking for the quieter, more raw side of Corbett, this is it.

Guest access
Guests have access to the common terrace, open areas around the homestay and the village surroundings. You’re welcome to sit on the terrace, enjoy the valley and village views, watch birds, read, work or simply do nothing for a while.

You can also explore Rathuwadhab on foot, join our village and heritage walks, nature walks and birding experiences, KTR Waterfall tour or head out for a safari, or other local experiences with our help.

Some areas are private and used by the family, so we request guests to respect those spaces.

During your stay
I, Shiwank, will usually be around during your stay and will be happy to help you with anything you need. I can help you plan your day, arrange a safari, suggest local places or take you through our village and nature experiences.

If I’m away, my staff is always around to help with meals, local tours, transport or anything else you may need.

You’re free to spend time with us, ask questions, or simply enjoy your own space. No forced hospitality, just genuine local help when you need it.

Other things to note
This is a village homestay in the quieter northern side of Corbett, so please expect a real rural setting rather than a typical resort.

The room price includes BREAKFAST only.
For lunch and dinner, we have a separate menu that you can order from during your stay. Our food is a mix of simple Indian meals and local Uttarakhandi dishes, cooked fresh and with the kind of homely taste that feels familiar. No fancy restaurant food here, just good, honest food you don’t have to think twice about.

We are a vegetarian homestay and there is no loud music or partying after 10 PM. You may hear birds, insects, village sounds and the occasional sounds of the forest.

Safari, birding, village walks, waterfall visits and other local experiences can be arranged with prior planning.
