We built this cabin ourselves. Architect-designed, floor-to-ceiling windows, snow-capped mountains from your bed. A home, not a hotel.

The space
The Forest View Cabin at Vaadi – a cozy mountain retreat perched at 2,400 meters in the heart of Uttarakhand. Wake up to sweeping views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, dense forests, and our peaceful garden right outside your window.
Vaadi sits where the road ends and the trail begins. Every beam, every fixture, every piece of furniture you see was carried up by hand or by mule – a testament to building something meaningful in the mountains, the old way.
The cabin features floor-to-ceiling glass walls on two sides, flooding the space with natural light and bringing the outdoors in. Wooden paneling throughout provides natural insulation and that warm, rustic mountain charm.

Private entrance
Work station for remote workers
Full kitchen access
Stay warm across seasons with multiple heating options – a traditional fire chimney, radiator heaters, and a humidifier for optimal comfort. Even in peak winter, you'll be snug.
