Charming split level, open plan gite, converted from an old stone barn attached to the family fermette set amongst fields, hedgerows and trees. Wood burning stove. Located on a peaceful rural lane close to the local village. Wonderful forest walks in close proximity. All mod cons and plenty of car parking space. Light and airy. There are numerous places of interest in the area serving a wide variety of tastes, as well as plenty of routes to explore for ramblers, walkers and cyclists.

Situated on the banks of the Charente, the appartment forms a wing of an ancient priory, set in it's own walled seven hectare park. A spacious home from home with everything you need for a relaxing break. There’s a comfy corner-sofa, super-fast Wi-Fi, TV with streaming apps, a fully equipped kitchen, a mezzanine library and a utility room with washer and dryer. The main bedroom has high ceilings with exposed beams, magnificent views over the valley and plenty of storage.
