This is Dartmouth so prepare for the 101 steps. The view from the top will take your breath away - if you have any left! Feeling adventurous? Why not take our dinghy out for a row on historic Warfleet Creek? You'll find it in the garage. Life vests and oars are stored up in the house. Enjoy! Designed as a family holiday home, this exquisitely detailed and recently refurbished house is the ideal base for a traditional bucket and spade vacation or a walking, sailing or boating holiday. With its panoramic views, it makes the perfect artistic retreat for a long-term stay or weekend break. Feeling adventurous? Why not take out our dinghy for a row on historic Warfleet Creek? You'll find it in the garage (where parking is also provided) Life vests and oars are stored up in the house. We would stress that this is probably a two person job! You will have access to the entire house from the reception area downstairs with bedroom, bathroom, utility room and kids bunk area to the open plan living area upstairs with its dining area and galley kitchen. You’re free to use the balcony area and rear patio garden. Just an attic sail loft is inaccessible. The house is nestled on a hill among trees, midway between Dartmouth and the historic Dartmouth Castle. It's a 10/15 minute walk to the castle and the town, with pubs, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, ATMs and chemists all close by. Car We have a garage for your own use on street level. Parking in town in high season is restricted. Bus There are two main bus services connecting Dartmouth to the surrounding area running roughly every hour. They run from the pontoon in the center of the town 15 minutes walk away. 92 - Dartmouth to Totnes Station (for trains to London, Bristol and the North) 3 - Dartmouth to Slapton, Kingsbridge and Plymouth (for Blackpool Sands beach) Train Stations Totnes (mainline for London to Paddington in 3 hrs, and cross country services to the Midlands and the North.) Paignton (Local trains to Exeter) Kingswear (Steam Railway to Paignton) X64 - Dartmouth to Totnes Station (for trains to London, Bristol and the North) 3 - Dartmouth to Slapton, Kingsbridge and Plymouth (for Blackpool Sands beach)

A Charming Cottage on Dartmoor National Park

Hold conversations into the night around a warm wood fire in a cosy and carpeted living room. Cook in a luxuriously remodeled kitchen and serve 6 around a country-style table. Enjoy complimentary Cake on arrival. Little Beck is a luxury Dartmoor Cottage, situated in the beautiful Devon village of Christow. The property offers two king sized bedrooms and a spacious twin, all furnished with high quality waffle weave cotton bedding. Both the king rooms are equipped with wall mounted televisions with integrated DVD players. The cottage has two bathrooms finished in natural stone, one featuring a large walk in shower and the other with a centred double bath. Little Beck also features a solid wood kitchen, with natural stone flooring and an eating area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Range oven, integrated dishwasher and an American style fridge freezer dispensing cool water and ice on those long summer days. The large living/dining room features a wood burning stove and a dining table seating 6. The property is fully equipped with WiFi and has a washing machine and dryer. At the rear is a small south facing garden and at the front another area of garden adjoins the private parking for up to three vehicles. The whole property has been finished to a very high standard with beautiful individual furnishings throughout and this attention to detail extends to the pile of fresh scones and clotted cream which will greet you on arrival! Guests have exclusive access to the property a beautiful detached home situated in the village of Christow, on the Dartmoor National Park. I am available by call or text between the hours of 0900-2000 for non emergencies/general enquires. In an emergency only I can be contacted out of these times! I live locally and I am happy to assist guests if required but I like to allow guests to have their privacy to enjoy their time at Little Beck. Little Beck cottage is in the beautiful Devon village of Christow, on the Dartmoor National Park. It is advisable for guests to have a car! There is a bus service but this is an infrequent service!

Pixie Woods tipi, sleeps 6 and your fury friends

This is the most amazing place set in it's own four acre field. Pixie Woods has a huge comfortable tipi and a very well equipped shepherd hut kitchen. Step into the woods and you'll find your private bathroom area with a hot shower and compost toilet. Send the kids into the woods to build a den or up to the farm to meet the animals, light a camp fire and relax. Everything you need is here but if you have forgotten something then our village has a fabulous pub and a very well stocked local shop.

The house is in the middle of beautiful Devon countryside, on 100 acres of land not far from a small town. There are good pubs nearby and the house is a mile from the Bear Trail. Only 7 minutes drive to the National Trust's Killerton House. The Nearest station is Tiverton Parkway, 10 minutes drive. Only 25 minutes drive from the centre of Exeter. One of the UKs most attractive cities. The nearest beach is at least 40 minutes away so this location is not suitable for a beach holiday.
