Walk down to Barton Creek or visit the longhorns in the pastures. Evenings are magical on the expansive porch; very romantic. We are 15 minutes from almost everything and in the heart of the wedding and winery venues. Uber and Lyft are available.The Hill Country Galleria is an incredible shopping and dining destination. Tex Mex, Italian, Mexican Parrila, Fine Dining, casual Dining, all within 15 minutes. Of course you are welcome to prepare your own food in the fully equipped full kitchen. A side note: we have a family of wild turkeys that visit the property, as well as abundant wildlife. We also free range our 3 chickens and 3 dusks named Larry, Curley and Mo. We also have 3 female Longhorn, Toodles, Daisy and Clarabell. The manicured property is located on a private, 13-acre hobby ranch on the border of Dripping Springs and Austin. Walk down to Barton Creek or visit the longhorns in the pastures. Evenings are magical on the expansive porch; very romantic. Dripping Springs is a dark skies community so on a clear night you can enjoy some amazing star gazing.

The upper deck has swing chairs with a propane fire pit, propane grill, and dining table. Hill country vibe 'soaking trough' on lower deck. Inside is Tuft & Needle bed looking out the skylight, full bathroom with tub, coffee bar, kitchenette, Roku TV, bose sound, wifi, & work table.

Tom Dooley’s Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon thats great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening.
