In the centre of Eiderstedt's main town, the historic harbour town of Tönning, in the immediate vicinity of the harbour, all sights, from the Multimar Watt Forum to the harbour with packing house to the market with the St. Laurentius Church are within walking distance.

Kleine Heimat

A little away from the tourist strongholds of St. Peter Ording and Büsum is the Little Homeland in the heart of the Marsch in the municipality of Oesterwurth. The 80m² apartment was completely renovated in 2017 and is located in the walls of an old cabbage barn on the back part of a 1,500 m² property. It has a separate entrance, a modern, fully equipped fitted kitchen, a spacious dining and living area and two bedrooms (1 large double bed + 1 bunk bed).

Located between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, at the narrowest point of Germany, this gem is a 180 year old Geestlanghaus in an absolutely quiet secluded location with free parking, just 10 minutes from the A7. In particular, young couples with toddler, solo travelers, tourists on the way north or south, seclusion-seeking painters, writers and other creatives, bird lovers and lovers of the seas are welcome in our small gallery!

Approx. 20 min. to Büsum and the possibility to take the ferry to Helgoland (journey time approx. 2.5 hours), approx. 35 min. to Husum or St. Peter-Ording, approx. 75 min. to Hamburg, Kiel, or Flensburg.
