Sheikh House "Living in a historic barn"

More than 20 years ago we bought the Sheikh House, a single house in the beautiful volcanic region of Vogelsberg. In the past, the farmhouse consisted of a dwelling house, a stable and the barn. We both worked in tourism and managed a holiday village for a long time. When we retired, we decided: This is not possible without guests! We have always dreamed of remodeling the old barn of our house – and now was just the right time.

The apartment is quietly located on the outskirts of Schmalkalden, it is the starting point for hiking and cycling trips or for exploring the old town.
