Here you can enjoy an active holiday with mountain hiking, paddling, swimming or biking. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you would need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad you have panoramic views to the nature elements from the inside.

Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Central to Ørnes in Meløy municipality. Amazing views, quiet surroundings, short distance to the sea, mountains, nature and exciting experiences! Glomfjord Alpine Center 15 minutes by car. Svartisen/Engenbreen 30 min by car. The world's most beautiful outhouse/Uredd Square 10 minutes by car. Otherwise, you have walking distance to nature from the front door of the house! 7 min walk to center of Ørnes and to the sea And a spectacular view from the house to all directions! Newly renovated house with everything you could need!

Guest apartment in great single-family home in quiet surroundings in the countryside, about three blocks by car from Bodø. Surrounded by forest, mountains and the sea. Close to sights such as Saltstraumen, Svartisen and Langsand on Sandhornøy. Good conditions for fishing all roads, ocean and water. Bedroom with large double bed. Sofa also possible for any 3rd person. Also movable guest bed. There are also available bedrooms in the other part of the building, but use of this must be specifically agreed upon.

Large cabin with lovely views, boat and sauna

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and unobtrusive to the very bottom of the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 15 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private sauna barrel all the way down by the water. Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top trips and smaller family trips for you.
