Tournes est un village avec tous les commerces ( boulangerie, charcuterie, Proxi, 2 restaurants, 2 coiffeurs, une pharmacie etc.) et situé à 10 minutes de Charleville Mézières dans le Parc Naturel des Ardennes. Le lac des Vieilles Forges et le village de Monthermé se situent à 15 minutes. La ville de Rocroy fortifiée est à une vingtaine de minutes et le Château de Sedan à 30 minutes .
