Opend in May 2023, YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year. 12 bicycles (inc. those for children) are available. You can visit the Shirahige Shrine, famous for its Torii in the lake, in a 15min by those.

In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. Just 5 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with Japanese traditional style garden "Karesansui "garden view. This house is barrier free. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.
