Sakurae-kan is a private old private house located in Sakurae-cho, at the foot of the national treasure Zenko-ji Temple, the symbol of Shinshu. Zenkoji Temple is a 5-minute walk away. It is a Japanese-style modern building that has been renovated taking advantage of the retro atmosphere of Taisho period architecture. On the way to Zenkoji Temple, there is the quaint Shukubo-dori Street, and at the end of Zenkoji Temple, there is also Joyama Park, the Nagano Prefectural Museum of Art, and the Higashiyama Kaiikan, which is a resting place for Nagano citizens, so why not relax?  There are many cafes, bakeries, Italian, French restaurants and cafeterias nearby, so it is convenient for eating out. Of course, you can also enjoy walking around Shinshu Soba, a specialty. There are many soba shops around Zenkoji Temple, as well as Japanese cuisine and Starbucks. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

It is suitable for couples with Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and dining rooms for families and groups. Of course you can cook in the kitchen. I am relieved to be able to rent one. There are only showers in the house, but there is a hot spring nearby.(7-minute walk) It's great for workouts right now. Together with the adjacent Ume House, 8 guests can stay.
