Situated on a high ground opposite the Yuhigaoka rest stop where the sunsets are beautiful, you can spend your holiday in a very quiet cottage between the ocean and the woods with vast expanses of ocean in front of you and untouched forests behind you. There is a microwave and refrigerator, but there is no stove, so it is not possible to cook in the room. The deck is large and open and has a BBQ that is available for rental for a fee.(Reservation required, fee 4000 yen, not allowed to bring in) Food ingredients are not included in the price, so please bring your own. It is located in a residential area, about 10 minutes by car from the border between Aichi and Shizuoka. The ocean, mountains, and lakes can be reached within 30 minutes by car. The property is only 7 minutes walk from a streetcar stop, which is one of the most valuable in Japan. Free parking is available on site. The small wooded yard has fir and oak trees over the 3rd floor. The sunset gradient from the deck and the 3rd floor balcony is beautiful The house has a Scandinavian interior.

House for 8 people in the Japanese countryside

Next to the other Guesthouse Tomida, it is the same location. A lot of paddy fields, forest and mountains around, so quiet and green area. The old village of Iwamura is about 20 min by walk. Nearby station as well. The bedroom of the 1st floor is occupied by us (owner, as bedroom and office) . So the main room is shared, so no party here sorry. Beware : food is not shared. Laundry machine : 300 yens / use Hint for larger groups : rent both houses and gather in the other one for the meals.
