Boating and Cardrona and treble cone ski fields. The township of Wanaka with its many award winning restaurants and cafes is only 20km away. The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

Our house is in a great location only a short walk to the town centre and the popular Arrow River. The location and position also attracts the sun all year round. The house has excellent indoor/outdoor living and is well equipped for your stay. There is also a BBQ with comfortable outdoor furniture for relaxing. It is very handy to the 4 Square Shop and at the end of the street there is a playground. For those wanting to exercise as there are a number of walking and biking tracks close by.

Only five minutes drive from central Wanaka, Mount Gold Chalet is a bespoke private and cosy retreat. The exquisite wooden open plan studio chalet nestles in native forest high above Lake Wanaka. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The perfect place to rest and relax amidst 1.8 hectares of native forest and gardens. We had some issues with Vodafone broadband where guests didn’t have a strong signal sometimes, so we have upgraded to fast Starlink wifi 😄
