Cozy, bright, yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, library, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor camping stove, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Reconnect with nature all year round at our enchanting yurt. Perfect for a romantic holiday. Nestled in the woods, directly across the road from the lake, it is private but not secluded. Your stay includes outdoor leisure equipment for fun on the lake every season. Just relax, I do the dishes! There's no running water in the yurts well-appointed kitchenette but everything else you need is there! The toilet is in an outbuilding by the yurt and a gorgeous guest shower room is up at the house.

We are at the end of a point that lands you at the base of a set of 3 waterfalls. A typical review… "And the shining glory: the location. The forest and river are just beautiful. We could only come for a weekend, but I wished we could stay a week." This Yurt is steps away from the 3rd waterfall. There is a queen bed, and futon. The screen porch has kitchen space. A comfort station has a hot shower, and outhouse. Two other rentable sites on the property with good privacy from each other.

A big tent with a bed and a wood stove. This old yurt has kept people cozy year-round for a decade. New bed & pillows March 2024. Daytrip to Algonquin Park, check out local artisans or the historic Wilno Tavern. Fall asleep to the sound of the wind, wake to the sound of birds. It's self-check-in but text if you need anything. No running water so best for people with some camping know-how. Wifi available from parking area but not in the yurt itself.
