VG was our Dad, and this was his home. Dad loved to have visitors and there was always someone calling in and staying overnight. It was hard to keep up sometimes. He was a people person and committed a great portion of his life serving the people of Queensland but most particularly the people of Western Qld. Great location to visit famous Queen Mary Falls at Killarney and wineries at Granite Belt region. Historic Steam train ride to Wallangarra, Clifton and Toowoomba Carnival Flowers leaves regularly on weekends so check the Southern Downs Railway website.
