Fabulous apartment located on the first floor (= seventeen steps and elevator that will take you next to the entrance door of the house) in a palace from 1600-1700. This apartment was completely restored in 2014, preserving the original frescoes from 1600-1700 that are in all the interior walls Its beautiful balcony and windows overlook the Famous Loggia del Porcellino. Thoughtfully furnished and stylish high-end furniture makes it a real gem. The apartment was completely restored ( excluding the frescoes) in JUNE 2014 with the highest quality materials and all the comforts you need and tastefully furnished. The building is from 1200 and inside the entire apartment, the interior walls have original frescoes and not restored, from the year 700. Ideal for those who want to experience the history of Florence. It is in a fantastic position and especially in the middle of the pedestrian area. For those who love to visit the most important monuments and museums of the city, you can reach it on foot without any need for any public service being the apartment in the heart of the historic center. Guests will have at their disposal , all the apartment and all the comforts of which they are part. The kitchen is prepared for all types of breakfast ( Kettle for tea, Toaster, Coffee machine American style, Moka for Italian style coffee,Various types of Tea , etc....) for cooking is provided with everything you need ( Cookware, Cutlery, Glasses, Dishes, Refrigerator, Microwave, etc...) At any time of the day I am at their complete disposal ready to advise them , help them or reach them , if they need or urgent or wish to do so. The apartment is wonderful and located in the most important neighborhood of the historic center. It has the largest balcony in the entire Piazza. Located a few minutes walk from the museums, the most important monuments of the city and history. I highly recommend Tuscan cuisine, which I would be honored to recommend some typical Florentine restaurants. Next to the apartment, you'll find the best fashion brands in the world. Being in an exclusively pedestrian area , to move by motorized means, it is possible to call a taxi , or move by bus. For those arriving by car , it is mandatory to book the parking space at the Garage of our trust. Just inform me , and I will do this and inform you of the address, costs and how to reach it. From the apartment , the Garage , is 150 meters away. PLEASE NOTE : Very important : I ask to be informed : 1) time of your arrival ; 2) the layout of the beds ((URL HIDDEN) If you want to pre-check in, in many cases you can do so. From 10:30 am , I offer the possibility to leave the luggage in the apartment , explain the operation of the apartment , take the keys and go to visit the city immediately. The apartment is located in a strategic position, Via Maggio n.1: in the heart of the city, between Borgo San Frediano (considered by Lonely Planet one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world) and the extraordinary monuments and masterpieces of Florence such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Museum, Il Duomo and the elegant Via Tornabuoni with its super-chic shops. The possibility of self-check in will soon be available, especially for those who have to arrive after 7 pm. the entire apartment. We will be at your disposal to give you all informations to spend an authentic vacation in Florence! The apartment is located in the heart of Florence’s historic center, a stone's throw from the famous Ponte Vecchio and its famed jewelry shops. Take a stroll to the Santo Spirito district to discover its lively cafes and vibrant Tuscan restaurants. From the train station Santa Maria Novella you can take the taxi (just 5 minutes) or the bus number 6 and get off in Lungarno Guicciardini ( the bus stop is called "Pescaia di santa Rosa") and from there 2 minutes by walk. If you have the car you can park at the Garage Lungarno in Borgo San Iacopo 10 (+39.055.282542 - two minutes by walk from our apartment) If you book it you will avoid the fine as it is in ZTL area. From the Airport of Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" you can take the taxi (around 20 minutes) or take the special bus to reach the central train station; check the website for timetable: www.areoporto.firenze.it on item Transports. The apartment is located in ancient building at the first floor (20 confort steps to make) no elevator. The apartement can accomodate up to 3 adults (King size bed 1,80 m x 2 m, 1 confort sofa bed 1,20 m x 1,90 ) both with lattex hypoallergenic mattresses). It will be possible also to 2 adults with 2 teenagers. Our staff will attend the check-in from 04.00 until 07.00 but if you need a different time please feel to ask and we can find a suitable solution for you . Self check-in will be also available asap. The air conditioning will be at your disposal from middle of April (work in progress)
