Our guest apartment is absolutely brand new, transformed from an old typography workshop to a sophisticated design space. The furniture was created by hand using local and eco-friendly materials or renovated old pieces. There is a King size bed with super comfortable mattress and premium quality pillows, a work desk with a library, a sofa that turns into a double bed and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table. The large industrial style windows open directly space to the veranda where our guest could enjoy their lunch or relax to the deck chairs with an unrestricted view to a central soothing square In spacious bathroom, you will find a big shower and a storage space with many extra amenities and comfort facilities like washing machine, hairdryer, first aid kit and toweling. The space has high-speed internet and is designed to be accessible for persons with special needs. Every space or supplies in my property are available to use. I allow a flexible arrival time best for my guests and also I m accessible frequently because of living and working in the neighborhood. But I prefer to respect your privacy so I let you know to contact me (sms, mail, phone) if you have any request or concerns. Also there is available a unique guide with various info’s and many tips for the city in order to facilitate you to self-manage your needs and discover the “genius loci” of the place. The apartment lies in the neighborhood of Psiri, one of the oldest districts of Athens around the rock of Acropolis. It’s on a quiet street next to a pedestrian area, with small squares where people gather to eat or shop from artisans or collectors. Walking distance (3-4 minutes) by metro stations of lines Monastiraki (line 1 & 3) and Thissio (line 1). Monastiraki station has a direct connection to the airport and to the Piraeus Port too. Using metro or by car/taxi arrive at the Larisis Train Station to central and northern Greece. Parking using a low-cost card or at private parking to the next block by a daily fee (starting from 5€) Don’t hesitate to ask information about current cultural and social events around the city during your stay. Also I m a young mom and I can share with other moms many facilities for feeding, sleeping or creative play for newborns and kids.

Perfect location for catching a bus, trolley bus, metro or tram to any area of Athens and the port of Piraeus.

In the shadow of the Acropolis, Koukaki is defined by its unevenly paved sidewalks lined with bitter orange trees. By night, the warmly lit Filopappou monument and the colorful lights of nearby bars will leave you feeling positively charmed. Transportation From the airport: By metro take direct line 3 (every 30 minutes) - stop Syntagma and change to line 2 for 2 stops (Syngrou Fix) .The fair ticket is 9 Euro per person. Arriving at Syngrou Fix then a 10 minutes’ walk from there either a taxi can be taken with the cost of 3,50 € By taxi the cost is about 40 euros and a taxi can be taken from the taxi rank outside the arrivals hall. An extra amount is charged for the luggages. Koukaki is served by two Athens Metro stations, Akropoli (near the Acropolis) and Syngrou Fix (on Andrea Syngrou Avenue). The nearest overground station is Petralona. Koukaki is served by both lines (Syntagma-SEF and Syntagma-Kolimvitirio) of the Athens Tram (L. Vouliagmenis and Fix stops). Koukaki is served by a large number of ETHEL bus routes along Andrea Syngrou Avenue, including 024, 040, 106, 110, 126, 134, 135, 136, 137, 230, A2, B2, E2, and E22. In terms of trolley bus, Routes 1, 5, and 15 of ILPAP have stops along Veikou and Dimitrakopoulou streets.

The 80 sq.m. (861 sq.ft.) apartment was renovated in June 2017. It has two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room and a larger than average sized bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances (refrigerator, dish washer, stove, microwave oven, toaster). The apartment can easily accommodate 4 people and families are welcome. Because of the renovation our guests, will be able to enjoy the sense of the old Athenian apartment (large windows, hardwood floors) with the modern day amenities! Apart from the apartment our guests are welcome to use our rooftop where one can relax or enjoy one of the day's meals. As more apartments are available in the same building for rent, families or friends traveling together can staytogether! As this is a family-owned building one of us will be readily available should any advice be needed or any problems arise. We are very discrete and willing to help our guests with any questions they might have regarding the apartment or their Athens stay in general. The apartment is located right behind the National Gallery and very close to the Byzantine Museum, one of Athens' most beautiful cultural spots. There are numerous small bars and restaurants in the the area, while Kolonaki is a 10 minute walk away. The metro is the best way to get around in Athens but there are also numerous bus stops very close to the apartment. If you are visiting by car, we have limited free parking for our guests!
