Explore the beautiful Calder valley from this characterful grade II listed annex to Kilnhurst Old Hall, once the home of the author, artist and traveller William Holt. We have a comfy king-size bed in the lower bedroom, and two singles or a double on the mezzanine level above as you prefer, and a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. There are fantastic walks, loads of fascinting local history, independent shops and places to eat and drink. We have a safe space for cyclists to store bikes, too!

It has modern decor with a country feel and is a snug little getaway, ideal for country walks or cycling holidays yet also within easy reach of nearby attractions and amenities. A hideaway space to truly savour in the grounds of a converted chapel on the edge of the Peak District offering a peaceful and relaxing escape. Located in the picturesque area of Swythamley/Wincle surrounded by an abundance of wonderful places to visit, see and experience. The accommodation is an ensuite one roomed studio, sleeping up to 4, with a double sleigh bed and a double sofa bed (comfortably sleeps 2 children or 1 adult, maybe 2 at a squeeze).
