There is a dining room in Altlay about 1.5 km away. Our cottage is surrounded by forest and meadows. The Altlayer stream flows right past the house. The picturesque 200-year-old brick building was renovated in 2022 and features a new bathroom, kitchen, underfloor heating and an open fireplace.

Beautiful apartment in the middle of the countryside with outdoor terrace. Very quiet on the outskirts of the town. We have excluded pets but dogs are allowed and welcome, The apartment is located a few meters away from the national park Hunsrück-Hochwald and very close to the Erbeskopf and Idar-Oberstein. Restaurants, a bakery, a butcher and supermarkets can be reached quickly from the apartment by car.

Our house is the winner of the Farmhouse Competition 2006.
