Just over 3 miles north of US-2. Perfect to rest from travel or a much-needed vacation. Enjoy the many fun attractions more or less than an hour away. Nested in a private country setting. Large area for parking stay on driveway. 2 miles to the boat launch on South Manistique Lake. Boating, fishing, ice fishing, and sledding to the trails. You may access the trails from the cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails head. Please read info below-

Pa's Retreat. Cozy cottage for fishing families

Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!
