Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . You'll love my place because of the brightness and comfort. My place is good for families , groups of friends. Bed linen and provided (except shower towels and pool). The SWIMMING POOL (8 x 4 m) secure. Free tennis 400m from the house. WiFi in the house. ( July August by the week minimum). ATTENTION ( no noisy parties after 10:30 p.m. to respect the neighborhood).
