The rocky cliffs and lush seaside setting in Seldovia is complete with tidal pools teeming with salmon, and crystal clear lagoons streaked by the occasional kayaker. You are closer to the ultimate Alaskan vacation than any roadside destinations. From here, find your own epic fishing hole (along the shore or out deep - for salmon, halibut, rock fish, cod and more. Kayak cove to cove, walk the beaches, hike trails and bike the mountains. In town, you'll find a few local shops to get groceries, a handful of restaurants, an abundance of artists and native crafts, a few tour/fishing guide outfits and others that offer kayaking or atv tours to Red Mountain and beyond. Seldovia is a gem among small Alaskan fishing towns. While off the beaten path, it is less than an hour via ferry from Homer, and even quicker by plane. You can walk from one end to the other in about five minutes and and realize it is a story-book setting that has something special to offer travelers.

Kingsize Bed - Romantic Getaway on the Homer Spit

Wake up to the sound of waves beneath you. Life could not get any better then sitting in your king size bed looking out over Cooks Inlet, staring at snow capped mountains, eagles soaring and waves crashing! Come and enjoy staying right on the beach! This luxury room is the perfect place to escape to! With a beautiful kitchenette, a cozy bed, comfy chairs, and a view you will never forget, this is the place you want to be! All within walking distance to the harbor and the fishing hole. This unit is upstairs with a private entrance over a tackle shop. You can stand on the balcony and watch the waves roll in on the west side, or you can turn to the east and watch the King Salmon jump in the fishing hole across the street! Both are majestic!

The Cottage is whimsically nestled in a greenhouse that is filled with fruit trees and flowers. It has a queen-sized bed and a fold-out twin couch, so it sleeps three comfortably, complete with refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and hotplate. There is a short walk to a clean, full bathroom with hot/cold running water, shower and regular toilet, shared with one other cabin. There is an even shorter walk to a cute little outhouse for midnight runs! The Cottage is media-free, however the Upper Deck is available with fireplace until 11:00 at night, located at the top of the Treehouse.

A cozy seaside getaway located on the Homer Shores Boardwalk on the Homer Spit. You can find food, coffee, ice-cream and shopping right on the same boardwalk! Walking distance to the harbor for easy access to ocean adventures! There are 3 identical rooms located above the Alaska Salt Company retail store. Watch eagles, seabirds, otters, and maybe even whales from your room! The view is ever changing and never gets old. If the sound of waves might bother you, this is not the place for you!

Cozy Hostel Loft bed #2 with Free Breakfast

At the top of the stairs is a "loft" area. It contains three single beds. You have full access to all the amenities the Inn has to offer: linens, towels, shampoo, soap, 2 kitchens. Breakfast is self serve at your convenience. We provide everything necessary for you to cook your own meal. Breakfast includes pancakes and waffles, and coffee. This area can be a little more noisy since it is located at the top of the stairs and people mingling in the area below are unaware of your location.

Charming Waterfront Inn - Sea Otter Room

The Sea Parrot Inn greets you as you arrive via boat or ferry. A little planning is needed to get to Seldovia as our little community is only available via plane or boat. It is not possible to drive to Seldovia. The road ends in Homer. During your stay enjoy made to order breakfast from Perry's Café while enjoying a truly relaxing and comforting scenic view of the harbor from our balcony. Our harbor-side Inn is the perfect location for a weekend getaway or a leisurely mid-week holiday.

The bunk room at Alyeska Hostel in Girdwood is great for budget travelers who don't mind sharing space. Linens and blankets provided, NO SLEEPING BAGS ALLOWED. There is a common kitchen which is shared, and 2 bathrooms with showers. It's a 1 mile walk to Alyeska Resort, or a half mile to the shuttle stop . There are many summer and winter outdoor activities to enjoy in Girdwood. Moose and bear are common sights so please keep trash and food secure. Please drive slowly, (20mph or less).

Our location is unique and hits the heart of all things Alaska! We are located on one of Alaska’s first airports! The rooms are located on the second floor of several Aircraft Hangars and have great views of the Chugach Mountains backdropped to the scene of hundreds of small bush planes. The rooms are very clean and simple. We are located just five minutes from down town and generally central to launching either North to Denali or South to the Kenai Peninsula. Gotta love it!!
